As a local, I often visited the lounge and spa here (best massages in town) but it took me a long time before I got to be a guest. It was well worth the wait.
There are hotel rooms and suites but the real gems, in my opinion, are the cosy (and large) private cottages in the back. The one I stayed in felt like a charming Santa Barbara old school cottage with a private entrance, outdoor sitting area and a huge living/sleeping area. My two favourite room features? The set up they had waiting for my dog and the gorgeous heated tiled floors in the bathroom.
As a guest you get access to the private and exclusive Coral Casino which gives you killer sunset views right over the ocean and is worth having a cocktail at whilst watching the sunset.
Take a bike and bike along an easy path into Santa Barbara, walk up the street to the shops of Montecito or just hang out across the way at the famed Butterfly Beach.
